Here is a list of Blogs on Flash, Flash Games and Flash Programming that I found to be quite good. As I find more that I like to read I will add them here.
Polygonal Laboratory is the blog of Michael Baczynski.
You must check out the awesome AS3 Data Structures For Game Developers (AS3DS) libray he made. There are many other great posts on Flash programming to be found here too. The post on Object Pools is another great example I wish I had found before I made Notepad Wars. I used the same technique but he has implemented it in a generic reusable fashion.
Oaxoa
Oaxaoa is the blog of Pierluigi Pesenti. There are many impressive Flash snippets to be found here.
Fountain Equalizer for a cool particle effect powered by sound.
Lava Lamps A great lava lamp effect.
Asciify This post was how I found this blog, it is a cool effect that turns things into ascii art. The video with the glow on it looks good.
Lost In ActionScript
Lost In ActionScript is the blog of Shane McCartney. Check out the demos of the Tweensy Tween Engine he is working on they are very impressive!
Adventures In ActionScript
I am not sure who writes this blog. How ever it has some good posts on programming with ActionScript on it. I have played about with the ActionScript 3 Animated Sprite Engine Library and it was good. Very simple to add in and get a sprite sheet style animation going. I have not used it in an actual game tho just some experimental projects. Tho I am sure it will hold up ok.
GreenSock
GreenSock is the blog of Jack Doyle. This is the guy who makes the awesome TweenLite library. If you want to tween some thing in ActionScript then you must check out his library. It is fast, small and very easy to use. I used it's mad tween skills for all the menus in Survival.
Kaourantin
Kaourantin is the blog of Tinic Uro. He works at Adobe working on the Flash Player. He has a few indepth posts about the Adobe Flash player.
